RWR-028: Why Multitasking is a Lie
No matter how much you want it to be true, it just isn’t. Humans cannot successfully multitask. Our brains are fast, but not that fast. Even computers can’t multitask, they just work faster than the human brain, so it appears like they are processing code simultaneously, when they really aren’t.
I was motivated to record a podcast on this subject after reading a chapter out of this book. I literally couldn’t put this new book down last night. Also, it’s 2016, and everyone claims to be an expert at multitasking. So I’m here to share why they’re not. Hit the play button and enjoy!

RWR-020: Find 3 Hobbies You Love
When it comes to being happy, you really need to do things you love. People always say, “Follow your passion.” While I believe that and agree, I think there’s more to it than just that. In this short episode, I break down this quote and explain how it relates to me, and how you should think about it this way… “Find three hobbies you love: one to make you money, one to keep you in shape, and one to be creative.”
Thanks again for listening! Be sure to leave me a review on iTunes and I can’t wait to share the next episode with you soon. Until next time, think less, risk more, regret nothing!
“Most of us, of course have never taken such vows—but we choose to live like monks anyway, rooting ourselves to a home or a career and using the future as a kind of phony ritual that justifies the present. In this way, we end up spending (as Thoreau put it) ‘the best part of one’s life earning money in order to enjoy a questionable liberty during the least valuable part of it.’ ” -Rolf Potts
