RWR-033: How Zombie Dogz Built a Cult Following Around Their Food Truck

If you’re like me, you love good food. Even better when it’s something unique and local, right? Zombie Dogz is a super popular food truck here in Dayton, Ohio, and I sat down with the creators this week on the podcast. Hot dogs have been an American classic for decades, and in most cases, they’ve been boring the whole time. Not anymore.

David and Lee Ann VanArtsdalen have created a culinary experience like no other with their gourmet hot dogs and the amazing toppings they add to each one. But don’t just take my word for it, check out their Facebook page. A quick glance and you’ll see tens of thousands of fans—and I’m talking diehard/raving fans—that spread the Zombie Dogz brand like wildfire. I hope you enjoy this episode and be sure to subscribe to the podcast here!

RWR-016: Less is More, Tiny Houses, and Doing What You Love with Trevor Gay

About 3 months ago, I posted a photo of a 500 square foot tiny house on my instagram. Something about a small living space really interests me. The idea of just using it to do the basic things in life. Something like this would most definitely encourage you to get outdoors more and live more.

In the comments, one of my friends said I should talk to Trevor Gay from Heart Of It All House. I had never heard of him before, so my curiosity led me to his profile where I did some basic research on him and what he was up to. Turns out he only lives about 30 minutes away, we have mutual friends, and share a lot of common interests. I wondered how we never crossed paths over the years!

With that being said, you’ll have to listen to this inspiring episode where we talk about his tiny house journey, why he’s vegan, some of his favorite books, and so much more. Enjoy!
