“The professional cannot allow the actions of others to define his reality. Tomorrow morning the critic will be gone, but the writer will still be there facing the blank page. Nothing matters but that he keep working. Short of a family crisis or the outbreak of World War III, the professional shows up, ready to serve the gods.” -Steven Pressfield

RWR-016: Less is More, Tiny Houses, and Doing What You Love with Trevor Gay
About 3 months ago, I posted a photo of a 500 square foot tiny house on my instagram. Something about a small living space really interests me. The idea of just using it to do the basic things in life. Something like this would most definitely encourage you to get outdoors more and live more.
In the comments, one of my friends said I should talk to Trevor Gay from Heart Of It All House. I had never heard of him before, so my curiosity led me to his profile where I did some basic research on him and what he was up to. Turns out he only lives about 30 minutes away, we have mutual friends, and share a lot of common interests. I wondered how we never crossed paths over the years!
With that being said, you’ll have to listen to this inspiring episode where we talk about his tiny house journey, why he’s vegan, some of his favorite books, and so much more. Enjoy!
“Mistakes will happen no matter what. It’s part of the game; it’s part of life! Fear is a necessary component of that — it helps you calculate the risk — but you can’t let the fear make the decisions for you. You must feel the fear, process it, and do what you need to do to achieve what you’ve set out for yourself.” -Lewis Howes
RWR-015: The Most Dangerous Risk of All
Today’s quote is: “The most dangerous risk of all – the risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later.” Tomorrow is not promised, so stop procrastinating and go do what you love.
“Every morning you have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams, or wake up and chase them.”
